Description
An old Victorian era hotel originally known as Kerridge's Family Hotel in the 1890's with good stabling and baths. Mrs Kerridge who became a widow aged 61, was the hotel keeper in 1901. Her son, Private Louis Kerridge of the Cameron Highlanders, was killed in action on the first day returning to the trenches from leave. He had also, at one time, been a prominent player in the Dunbar Football Club.
Today the commanding views are still beautiful and the hotel has all the modern conveniences as one would expect.
