Description
Bramble grows almost anywhere and is common in woodland, hedges and scrub. Flowers bloom in June to July and the fruit is ripe in July.
The flowers are a food source for honey bees and bumblebees. Leaves are eaten by certain caterpillars as well as some grazing animals. Seeds are dispersed by several mammals such as foxes and badgers, also small birds. It is also a habitat for some animals including grass snakes.
