Crocosmia is a small genus of flowering plants in the Iris family.
Crocosmia is herbaceous, which means it flowers every year and dies back over the winter to bare earth, re-growing each spring. Crocosmia form clumps with attractive, sword-shaped leaves and they are in flower for a long time.
