Description
Diascia is a genus of around 70 species of herbaceous annual and perennial flowering plants of the family Scrophulariaceae, native to southern Africa.
A small and pretty free flowering plant, especially when grown in full sun. Its dainty twin-spurred flowers give it its common name, Twinspur.
The cup or shell-shaped flowers are usually in shades of white, pink, peach or orange.
The foliage is semi-evergreen with glossy ovate leaves.
It is ideal as an edging plant, rockery specimen, front of the border carpeter or in a summer bedding scheme and may also be used as filler in hanging baskets and containers.
