The Shore, Port of Leith, Edinburgh.
The district of Leith rests on the shores of the Firth of Forth, at the mouth of the Water of Leith. Having served as the port of Edinburgh for hundreds of years, the area’s original harbour dates back to the 14th century and has been visited by many travelling kings and queens, including Mary Queen of Scots and King George IV.
The Shore is now an upmarket area lined with bistros, stylish bars, traditional pubs and first-rate restaurants with some of Scotland’s finest chefs.

Welcome! I am an Artist/Photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. My interests are wide and varied and this is reflected in my subject matter. I enjoy finding the beauty in even the most mundane subjects and the challenge of depicting the small details which are sometimes overlooked. Where possible, I research my subjects to give me a better understanding, which in turn allows me to adapt my approach to each one. I do not restrict myself to any particular style or media as this gives me the freedom to create my vision on each individual piece.
