Description
Salvia farinacea (mealycup sage)
'Victoria' is an upright perennial grown as an annual, with lance-shaped leaves whitish-hairy beneath and small deep violet-blue flowers in dense spikes in Summer and Autumn.
It is highly popular for its long lasting flowers that make excellent cut flowers.
Salvia can be annuals, biennials, herbaceous or evergreen perennials, or shrubs. They have paired, simple or pinnately lobed, often aromatic leaves and 2-lipped flowers in whorls, forming simple or branched spikes or racemes.
