They are early blooming small plants and produce a wealth of dainty, clear-faced, fragrant blooms in jewel-like shades from late spring to early summer.
Viola is generally more winter-hardy than the larger-flowered pansy.
Welcome! I am an Artist/Photographer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. My interests are wide and varied and this is reflected in my subject matter.
