Description
Petunia can be annuals or perennials, however, they do not tolerate frost and are grown as annuals in most climates. They have simple leaves and large, solitary, trumpet-shaped flowers in the upper leaf axils from late spring to autumn. These popular bedding plants can be found in almost any colour, as well as striped, veined and speckled patterns. There is also a variety of flower forms available, ranging from petite to palm-sized in single or double with ruffled, fringed, or smooth edges.
