Description
Gold Hill, Shaftesbury in Dorset is one of the most photographed streets in Great Britain.
It is perhaps best known for it's association with the famous Hovis bread advert that was filmed here in 1973, directed by Sir Ridley Scott.
Far reaching views across Dorset can be enjoyed from the top of the hill.
With it's steep cobbled street and famous picturesque appearance it has been described as one of the most romantic sights in England.
