The upscale Rotherbaum district is distinguished by its Tudor-style villas and pre-war mansions. Hamburg's Jewish community is centered around Grindel, an area with traditional cafes, the Hohe Weide Synagogue and the Stolpersteine stones memorial. The sprawling lakeside meadows in Alsterpark are popular for picnicking and boat-watching, while Hamburg University’s science museums display gems, minerals and skeletons.

I enjoy finding the beauty in even the most mundane subjects and the challenge of depicting the small details which are sometimes overlooked.
