Winter approaching on Red Moss Reserve on the edges of the Pentland Hills, Edinburgh, Scotland.
It is the only raised bog in the city, with deep peat which has accumulated over thousands of years. Home to a variety of heathers and mosses and other peatland plants. Various species of damsel and dragonflies can be found darting across the pond and peatland.
