Description
The tower was completed in 2016 and is situated on the campus of the Ecole Polytechnique.
It is one of the first projects for the large scale science cluster on the Saclay plateau, Palaiseau, France.
At over 60m high, the tower provides a reliable air traffic control on the approach to Paris Orly Airport.
Rising above the trees, the 13.9m diameter cylindrical trunk houses all the required technical equipment.
